Day 54 - Shizuan Chicken and Brocollini


This recipe comes from the Donna Hay book, The Instant Entertainer. It is a midweek dinner party, served with peanut noodles, but as it was just Morry & I we didnt have the noodles, just loads of brocollini.

Chicken is tossed in the Shizuan pepper, Chinese Five Spice, Salt and fresh diced chilli, stirfried with the brocollini. Morry added chopped mint, spring onions and toasted cashews. He has a splendid knack for cooking the chicken to perfection, just cooked breast is beautifully moist.
